Extended Inclined Plane Kit (No Base) - Visual Scientifics

This Extended Inclined Plane experiment kit includes the components needed for the Visual Scientifics Extended Inclined Plane experiment: extended inclined plane, car, pulley, nylon cord, support rod, and sliding protractor with metal bob. A Visual Scientifics Magnetic Base (PHVSBASE) is required and sold separately. The included laboratory manual and student worksheet support experiments demonstrating mass and speed, kinetic and potential energy, dynamic equilibrium, the work-energy theorem, and unbalanced forces. Activities cover approximately 2-3 hours of classroom time and align with Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards. Scale, photogate system, hooked mass set, video camera, and graphing software are recommended for extensions but not included.
