Free Fall Kit, Alternate Model - Visual Scientifics

This Free Fall experiment components kit is designed for the Visual Scientifics system and provides the materials needed to study the physics of acceleration due to gravity and principles derived from energy conservation and one-dimensional kinematics. The kit includes an electromagnet, a steel ball, a landing pad, and a laboratory manual with student worksheet. The manual outlines experiments and provides instructor resources for lesson planning. The activities cover approximately 2 to 3 hours of classroom or laboratory time and address Common Core Standards and Next Generation Science Standards concepts. Note that this kit contains experiment components only and does not include the Visual Scientifics Magnetic Base (PHVSBASE), inclined ramp/tower, photogate system, or other required components, which are sold separately.
