This round-form evaporating dish is made from fully glazed porcelain and has a 35mL capacity. It measures 60mm in outer diameter and 24mm in height, and features a spout for controlled pouring.
Evaporating dishes are used primarily for the evaporation of excess solvents and for melting point experiments. The porcelain construction offers strong thermal-shock resistance, though gradual heating and cooling are recommended to prevent stress cracking.
