3D Paramecium Sectional Anatomical Model on Base, 15 x 9.5 inch

This three-dimensional paramecium model provides a sectional view of the internal structures and oral groove with continuation into the gullet. The model is hand-painted in detail and numbered, with an included key card identifying each structure: ectoplasm, endoplasm, oral groove, cytostome, gullet, food vacuole, contractile vacuole, radiating canals, micronucleus, macronucleus, pellicle, trichocysts, cilia, cytopyge, and fibril. The model is mounted on a display base and cast in durable PVC plastic, which is corrosion resistant and unreactive toward common solvents and acids. The model body measures 12.5" wide by 5.5" long by 2.5" tall on a 15" x 9.5" x 1" base. Well suited to cell biology and microbiology classrooms.
